The aspiring Ashanti Regional Chairman Joseph Yamin said the Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta has reduced himself to a credit loan facilitator.
He said Mac Dan Shipping Company has every right to apply for loan from a bank, however, why should a finance Minster who is neither a board member nor a trustee of the bank authorize a loan from a private bank.
According to the Former Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports in the previous government, it's a rumor that if you want a contract from the ruling government, you have to march to the Flagstaff House with about $20,000 to $30,000 before you are given a contract.
Moreover, the minority press conference which was held on 5th September 2017 was to expose the guilt of the Finance Minster, the former Ashanti Regional Chairman for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) said this during an interview with Amandzeba Madiba the host of Good Morning Cape Coast on Cape Fm, a Cape Coast based radio station.
