GYEDU BLAY AMBULLEY EXPLAINS WHY HE HAS
SAID HE WILL NOT WORK WITH OBOUR
Speaking on
skery spark talk on yes 102.9 fm, the highlife legend cleared things out on the
fact that he doesn’t agree with the win of Obour as the MUSIGA president
because he thinks there was ‘mapherism’.
The MUSIGA
election came off on the 31st of October where Obour won by 88 votes
and Ambulley and Appietus lost with 22 and 18 votes respectively. After this
Ambulley has said he will take MUSIGA to face justice because he thinks they
used crooked means for Obour to retain the seat. He has further disagreed to
work with MUSIGA as people has suggested. He explained why
“When we are
doing elections, the house is for all of us so if things are not going well, we
don’t need to take crooked means to make things work. This means there is no
good mind and advice. Because the delegates who are supposed to vote are
selected by MUSIGA We the people don’t have access to select delegates. MUSIGA
has access to select people whom they know will vote. We went for vetting and I
asked for the names of the delegates but it didn’t come until later. The names
they provided too if they realized you won’t vote for Obour then they find a
way to take out the name” He said.
Ambulley
said that the names were not reliable when asked how come he believes they were
people who will vote for Obour.
“There were
no phone numbers attached to the names and also on the 21st of
October they brought different set of names. So I realized there was something
fishy” he said
So with
this, Ambulley suspects that the election was not free and fair.
