In terms of style
and what keeps him active in the career, Daasebre made it known that his unique
band, words in music and production makes him different from other musicians.
“ Kokooko” is one of his songs which brought
him to the lime light ,Daasebre Gyamenah said on the Skery Spark Talk at Yes Fm
on Saturday, 29th August 2015.
Following the story that Bisa Kdei is next
to Daasebre Dwamena. Daasebre disagreed with the fact that the ‘Metanfo’ music
maker is next to him. He said Bisa Kdei is good, he uses low tempo in music but
with him he has got songs with high tempos as well. “Lyrically Bisa Kdei is
good but he can,t compete with me at all’’ “Compile my songs and compile Bisa
Kdei’s songs you will see that Bisa Kdei is not next to me, there are more
people why don’t you compare me to Kofi B and others so don’t compare him
to me at all’’ he declared
The ‘Kooko’ hit maker has 16 albums since
he started music in the early 90’s. With inspirations from his grandparent who
was a guitarist, he took to music as well.
Daasebre Gyamenah as we know him is set to
launch his new album on 3rd of October 2015 at the Koforidua Capital
view. The album has got 8 songs ‘wasoma me’, ‘krataa’, akoma’, ‘yen fitaa’ ‘ntomago’ and so on. “Whiles
you going in the industry then you also learn in getting experience that has
given me so many ways in writing my songs, how I should put it, I mean
arrangement and the kind of instrument we need to choose to sustain the high
life in Ghana makes this new album special from the other album” he revealed.
